DESIGNER'S HOUSE
"It has an organic quality that makes one suspect that it simply grew out of the land, unmindful of who or what was around it, maybe because what ties it all together is the lush greenery that is always present wherever one goes. Or it could it be the natural materials used all over the house?"
The house is painted with earthly shade of red in the interior of the ground floor. The wide glass windows are overlooking an 18th century altar table from Cagayan Province.
The Garden is beautifully arranged beyond the windows with the pieces of jars from Vigan arranged and used as pavement. There are also wooden objects like benches, bangka, under the anahaw roof and are lighted by small clay lamps at night.
The walls of guest room is painted with mint green that is so wonderful. Most of the figurines are collected from different countries like Italy, silk lamps from Hanoi and Mexico.
Plants are everywhere, palms, ferns, bamboo, narra and other plant species arranged in place. Their is also a pond, small wooden bridge and nipa hut.
